It's Beginning to Look Alot Like Christmas!...

Snow days are the best! We stayed in our jammies most of the day!

These were just sweet pictures of Avery eating breakfast!
She was being silly in this one! So cute! Such personality!

Turkey Day!

Ok, these actually aren't in order...so you might want to start at the bottom and work your way up for any of the things written to make since! ha! Or just enjoy it anyway! Happy Holidays!
Time to stretch our legs, so we went to the park!
She likes walking with her hands behind her back! It's really cute! I just hope she doens't fall!

The main reason for going to the park!

She loves to swing!

More family fun!

Turkey Dinner: Round 2 She ate this entire plate as well!

Look at her go!

She learned to love home-made whipped cream!

Happy baby!
This is just part of the family!Turkey Dinner: Round 1 She ate her whole plate of food!

Getting some fresh air!

Turkey Day!

She loved hugging cousin Jett! She said, "Aaahh" every time she hugged him!
We could hardly pull her away from the piano! She said, "uh, uh" to just about everyone to get her up to those keys! The weather was beautiful enough to get enjoy the patio and drink coffee!

I'm not sure what she was wanting but I'm sure she was trying to tell Nani about it!

Glamour shot!

Averys' cousins came to visit this past weekend and boy did we have fun! I don't know if it was more fun for them or myself, seeing that I was able to cook and clean up without a baby rapped around my legs. I've always said a new born should come with a five year old. It just helps! Avery was more than entertained the entire time they were here. She even continued with her two naps a day since she played so hard! She also learned to make goat sounds as you can see in the video below! The kids were so well behaved and helpful it was sad to see them go.
I call this one "Goat Callin'"

Speaking in Tongue (Literally) and a Whole Lot of No's

These go with the below pictures...more Halloween fun!

Our precious little Pumpkin!

Sweet indeed!

Nani and the grandkiddos all dressed up! This is the best group photo we could get with a walking one year old and a fussy monkey! At least Averi Addison is smiling!

Oh, what a funfilled month October was! I just love this time of year! I wish in some way I could hit a "slow-mo" button to make it last longer! Avery is branching out in this world learning so many new things to do and of-course, not to do! On her to-do list: saying "hi, Daaaaaaaad (which she often yells across the house), dog, duck, Nana and Nani but still no Momma! She loves walking outside, putting my shoes in the bathtub, closing doors and can almost open some, clapping, blowing kisses (on her own terms), talking with her tongue (that's a cute one), tickling us, taking my hair clippies out of my hair, and spinning in circles til she falls. On her to-not do list: scratching us when she doesn't get her way, crying when we say no, running away squealing when we ask her to come with us. How do they learn to get a mind of their own so soon in life! ha! She's a sweet girl and we have so much fun with her! Here are some pictures from a Halloween events! Enjoy!

Another mommy-made costume! (I just had to brag on myself a little, that's what these blogs are all about anyway, right?!)

Cute little hiny!

Pops and Jett, two very handsome Nunley guys!

Spooky DeeDee!

She likes to "move it, move it"! That's what that little figurine is saying anyway and she really likes to move to it!

Avery had her first lunch date with her buddy from Arkansas! Malachi came all that way just to play with her...plus his dad was preaching a Gosple Meeting at our church! They were so cute sharing their food and toys with each other and since they are both walking now they enjoyed following one another around the house. Obviously in this picture they are both chewing instead of smiling but aren't they precious! It was so great to see them and we miss them already!

Avery showing Malachi around the house...they loved beating on the front door!

Our first trip to the park! Poor Avery has been deprived of the park during her first 14 months of life! It takes a friend like Hollee to show me the way! We all had such a good time! The kids played 'til their faces were beat red!

She absolutely loved to swing and the higher the better!

Back at home, after the guests had gone, we spent alot of time in the yard. She loves to pick things up and study them! And lucky for me she usually doesn't put stuff in her mouth though she did sample a mum bloom...oops! I got most of it out by her doing that tongue thing she does!

She must see mommy doing this quite a bit! She's become a little pro at it as well! She can almost say "Hello" though it's more like "heddo". She will have a full conversation on my cell phone before she quietly tucks it away where it's hard to find! Thank goodness David got us a house phone!
Enjoying dinner in Marble Falls looking over the river!

Isn't that sweet though neither one of them are smiling. Actually it looks like they are both frowning but they really were having a good time just walking around the Nimitz Museum in Fredericksburg!
Following Peepaw and Nana as we viewed the Navy Memorial.
Shug's ship was honored with a plaque inside the memorial! We were so glad to be there and share this special occasion with him!

A Great Little Get-Away

Avery loved swimming with Aunt Ashley 'til I got the camera out, of-course! Jaden seems concerned for her!
Emma Clair was out before we even arrived...we were late due to a late nap!

Loren, D'Laney, Maddi and Zoey having a good ole time!

Just visitin' with Peepaw and Granny!

Watching some football with Papa!

This past Labor Day weekend we packed up and headed to Iraan to meet with family and friends! It was the perfect time for a get-away 'cause I have been stir crazy in this house! Before we left town, Avery was still not walking. Therefore, as all mommies know, I was lugging around 20 extra pounds when needing to get from point A to B fairly quickly. We arrived on Thursday at Nana and Papas' and Avery discovered the freedom of walking on her own! We were cooking in the kitchen then looked up to see that she had left the coffee table and was headed our way! It's just so strange when these baby's switch from laying still to rolling over or from sitting up to crawling and especially from standing to walking! I got so used to seeing her in one spot, leaning against something while playing with a toy and now who knows where she will be the next time I look up! It startled me for the first few days of this until I got used to her being on the move by foot! She's still a little wobbly but this week she has learned to stand up from the squatting position! It's the cutest thing to watch!
While in Iraan Avery got to see all her girlfriends: Zoey, Maddi, Emma Clair, D'Laney, Josie and Jaden! What a crew! The best part is that us mommies got to visit as well! The guys played a whole lot of golf and a whole lot of 42! Nana did a whole lot of babysitting (thank you Nana!!), so mommy did a whole lot of resting! I just love going to Iraan!

These are some of Averys' first (consecutive) steps walking from Aunt Ashley to Nana. Before I could get the camera out and rolling she had already walked across the living room for the first time! I should just permanently install my camera into my hand!
