Birthday Bash #2!

Aves second birthday was superbulous...that means extra super, fabulous, etc or whatever you would like it mean...anyhoo. Like for her first big day, she was joined by all her great-grandparents, grandparents, aunts and uncles and greats too, plus all cousins including the "due in November" cousin! Malachi and his mom and dad even came all the way from Hot Springs! Avery was a sweet girl that day! She told long drawn out stories that included lots of hand motions; she had a blast banging balloons around; and loved her new things and gave a little "ee oo" (thank you) to all! So ee oo to all who came and shared this special day with us!

Look who's 2!

The roads are no longer safe!

Admiring her new Backyardigans book!

Most kids go for the gift wrap or toys; she was excited to show off her new clothes!

What's a party without balloons? Well, it wouldn't be a party!

Birthday Fairy godmother!

Sidewalks aren't safe either!

Obviously enjoying the party!

Giving it a test ride!

Birthday girl with her "Dargdin" (Backyardigans) Cake!

Ready to garden!

What a crew!Malachi got to stay the weekend and join her in the pool...she sat while he played!
What a beautiful couple they make!

Whoa, what a weekend...recliner time needed!

'Scuse Me!

Yes, we have encouraged this behavior...but at least she excuses herself afterwards!

For Hire: A Blogger
Requirements: Update our Blog!
Wouldn't that be nice! Kudos to you mommies who can keep up with one of these things!

Let's see, since church camp Avery got her cast off (I'm sure some of you were starting to wonder, haha). She's walking great now but still has a little limp in her step. She's even more cautious now though I thought that couldn't be posible. While other kids her age are jumping off things and sprinting across the room, she's slowly sliding down the couch or pumping her arms while walking fast to imitate a run!

She's talking so much more, well we can at least tell what she is saying now. I love it! Her most famous lines are:
Where'd it go? I wanna eaT? (yes, emphasis on the T) Me me! (excuse me when she burbs or toots, she's such a little lady) I wanna wing. (swing) Oh man! (I guess she learned that this past weekend with Kreek and Kaegen, ha!)
Anyhoo, the list goes on and it's all real cute to this mommy!

A trip to Sea World with the James'!

What great fun we had watching Avery see Shamoo and dolpins for the first time! My dad was right, vacations are fun as a child and even more so as an adult watching your own kid enjoy what you once did! Avery latched on to a stuffed Shamoo in the store and wasn't willing to let it go, so we bought it and she still hugs on it everyday! "A whale!" she says. She just doesn't understand why it can't go in the tub with her.

Her fish face to the dolphins! Precious!

She was so hot the whole time she didn't have many experssions to give during the Shamoo show...but her daddy always does, hehe!

Feeding the Sea Lions...because she heard the word lion she would roar when she saw them!

At Lake Nasworthy with Pops and Nani plus a visit from Granny, Peepaw and Nana.

We had a great time cooling off in the water! Avery loved playing on Sandy Beach dumping buckets of muddy water on her and the sand whole she had dug. Pops taught her to cast a line on her new rod and reel. That was such fun to watch! She'll be ready for a hook by next summer!

Cutest Lake Bumb!

Using her thumb to release and the other hand to crank it up...what a smarty!

Caught using a girly fishing pole!
