Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail .....

Here's a little, ok rather large Easter review in pictures! We had a wonderful time with Davids' family! Nana and Ashley had the whole weekend planned out with delicious meals, egg decorating and a day at the park! They bought tons of goodies and filled them in baskets for each kid to then find. Aves basket had a fish kite, Tangle (which is adorable, but I'm sure most of you already know that), stickers, candy and confetti egss and silly string! What a Goody Basket! Once Kreek and Kaegen found theirs, the confetti war was on! Plus somehow that turned into a water fight with water from the melted ice in the icechest! We ended the trip with church where Granny and Peepaw go then had a delicious meal at their home.

We finished up the wonderful, colorful holiday with my fam ..... visited everyone at Lonnie and Yaya's since it was also my Nannies birthday (plus Butch's too, a real busy day). After their church we had Banana Splits and an egg hunt at Nani's and Pop's! What a day (as the Fresh Beat Band would say)! Aves loved seeing so much family in one weekend! She wasn't sure why no one was around on Monday ..... those are always the hard days ..... days without grandma's around!

Ready to decorate the eggs!

Look at how much she's grown! Cayla is one happy baby!

Dying eggs .... good idea, Ash, to do this outside on the driveway!

Intense egg dying!

Lunch at the park ....

Avery got the fewest amount of eggs due to the fact that she had to open the egg and eat what was inside before moving on to the next one! She's so funny!

Granny and Peepaw

She couldn't smile for all the candy in her mouth already!

Out of everything in her basket, the sucker took first place.

By the way, I made this dress for her! It had the cutest chicks and Easter eggs on it! She's 2 1/2 and this is the first dress that I made for her .... better late than never!

Kreek started the confetti war with this!

Even had time for horse shoes.
Kreek and his mischief!

That was all she could take!
The cousins all dressed up.

Saying "Happy Dirtday" to Nanny!

Girl time ....

Ready to hunt some more!

Hunting eggs with wonderful, family support!

More Easter goodies from Nani and Pops!

The End!

Cousin Buddies!

Hello fellow bloggers! I've been keeping up with you all in the blog world; however, not so much when it comes to me actually taking pictures off of my camera, picking through them to decide which ones to post and writing something clever about them. So I'm finally doing just that!

To keep it simple, we had a great time with Jett a few weekends ago! He got to stay the night with us, just him and us, and he was just so sweet and easy going and such a good buddy to Avery. His super layed back way of life is the perfect match for our demanding, sometimes bossy, ever-so-busy, never stops moving Avery! They had a great time and he didn't even mind playing tea party or with anything pink! We love that little guy!

Tea party for Him and Her...

She's happy to be riding, too, though he would rather her not be on there...

Apparently Jett rides so fast, Avery felt the need to wear safety glasses which she went and found on her own! Makes for a great picture!

Pops and DeeDee joined us to watch the entertainment...

They actually sat still long enough to get a picture with DeeDee!
