Tah-Dah!!! We Had Another Baby!

Most people our age would have smeared the blogging world with newborn pictures of their precious little addition right away.  Well I decided to sleep, eat, shower, play with the first born or clean during these past five months instead of informing ya'll of every sweet grin, cue or drool.  My apologies!  I know some of you have actually been wanting to see our little bundle of joy, so here she is...Little Miss Aubrey!

One week and two days before she arrived.

One day old with proud big sister who four months later still wants to hold and love on her.

Enjoying her crib with the hilariously cute sheep mobile. Thank you Tisha!

One month!

Fourth of July golf cart parade.  We enjoyed it and she slept through it as you can see.

Precious moments here....

.....and here!

She slept where ever I laid her those first few months.  I just love those first few sleepy, cuddly months!

Doing what big sisters do!

Surprise!  I'm 3 months old!

And now 4 months!

From the tummy to now 4 1/2 months, how the time really does fly!  She is so sweet and has been smiling since five weeks!  You just look at her and her mouth opens wide and those gums go to shining!  She even has dimples!  She can work those eyebrows and make the sweetest faces.  I guess sweet about sums her up cause that's the only adjective I can think of to describe all her little ways.  Avery really has handled our new addition well.  She hasn't shown jealousy (much) and usually wants to help or love on her.  We are blessed and enjoying our family of four!

So How 'Bout An Update?!

Well hello family and friends!  Had ya'll given up on us?  I sure would have!  But I do have hopes of slowly adding on to this nifty little means of staying connected.  I guess we can only stay connected if I do my part of posting...so....here we go:

In January, Aves started preschool at Sunshine School.  First day was rough as most would expect.  She cried as did I, of course, but not til after I left the building then continued through my whole shopping trip at Albertsons.  But we both survived and she did well the rest of the semester.  She was still hesitant but we got through without any more break downs.  Though from time to time she will let me know that she did get sad during the day and say, "I had a tear for you today" or "do you know why I had a tear today?  Because I missed my mommy."  So sweet!  So that whole experience helped us with an easy and painless start to the real PreK with no tears at all!  Teacher says she is quiet and shy.  What?!  Also heard that the kids love her and want to be her friend because she has such a fun personality!  Only thing is, she would rather play alone most of the time and ends up hurting feelings at times.  We are now working on polite ways of saying "I would like to play by myself, thank you."  Must be due to that 4 1/2 year gap between our children (more on that bundle of joy to follow!)
Lovely smiles leaving home...tears came at the drop off :(
 Days later, well adjusted!
Awesome reading nook in the dowtown library....wish her room had one of theses!
Skip ahead to this year's first day.  Not a worry at all.  She went right in and found her spot.  She doesn't even mind wearing the uniforms which I was afraid would be a daily battle.
