Everyone was in and out all day...

Resting on Daddy's head and shoulders ... Just precious.

Great-granny Nanny even joined in on the fun!

Looking a little tired but glad to be in the red car, too.

Avery has learned lots of cute little sayings and this is my favorite for the time being. This is her way of delaying nap time and bed time. She usually repeats herself a dozen times, but I only got a few out of her this go around. Thanks to the Fresh Beat Band, she thinks by saying this that I will let her out of bed or sing just one or two or ten more songs! She is such a character!
Avery enjoyed the train ride. While we wanted to sit and watch the scenery go by, she was all about walking back and forth from car to car. "Come on, let's go walkin!", she would say over and over with much excitement! So Nana, Dave and myself rotated as she pleased. It was neat to see all the different styles of cars, some with seats, some with tables, some with their own private rooms, plus the concession stand and souvenir shop on board. Nana bought a train book with stickers which helped us all sit for a while as Aves added stickers to it and eventually to Daves legs...whatever gives you a minute to rest.
