Football season is here. Usually I would resist it completely due to the amount of hours it is on our TV this time of year; however, I've decided to join in on the excitement and get into this year. That is probably because we were able to take Aves to a few games and enjoy it with her as well. We were able to make both mine and Daves High School Homecoming games so I just HAD to make Avery a mum! I love being crafty! First I made it with black and red for Iraan, then cut out the red and added more black and some white for Permian. That worked out great especially because she actually didn't mind wearing it! She was so pumped for the first game that she didn't even sit down the entire first half, cheering all the way, "yay!" and "go!". So cute. Dad even caught her a ball which she imediately and so generously returned to a few rows in front of us. Oh well. The Permian game was great also! We got to go with alot of my family plus Jason and Jett were in town. I made him a garter but he was not having that thing past his little fingers, even. No worries, I didn't figure an 18 month old little boy would enjoy one anyway (but it too was so fun to make!). The kids did great again, Aves seemed into the game, but the two of them did alot of lap hopping and a little running around in front of the bleachers.
Ready for the game with D'Laney.
We were lucky enough to help Loren get ready for the Homecoming Court! What fun we girls had! And doesn't she look beautiful!?
Totally into it!
Touch Down! (though no one around her seems to be reacting the same way, maybe this was just a practice run)

Black and White time!

Oh yes, totally into this game too! I love that smile and that girl!

"So what do you think of that play, Pops?" (or Dops as Aves says)

Yaya and Lonnie were there too, so we snuck into their area to enjoy the game with them!
We had to make Jett this shirt to represent!
A Mojo Tradition!

Her pal, Micah. Micah's brothers, who are twins, play for Permian so we added their names and numbers to Aves' mum. She loves them and they love her!
Yes, they network too. They seem to take it very seriously.

Fellowship Fun!

We had a busy, but wonderful few weeks with our church group...
A trip to the Corgill Ranch south of Sheffield. "South of Sheffield?", you ask? Yes, there is existence even further south! And it was a diamond in the rough, I tell you! We swam in the cool river next to huge bluffs, hiked through tall, tall Live Oaks, and visited with our brothers and sisters in Christ. Can't beat that!

These guys just love her, though they're all a bit distracted at the moment...Bigfoot?

Talking in over with the preacher man.

Her pal, Rylan!

Her other fun pal, Bre!
The week following we held our annual school supply giveaway, giving backpacks full of supplies to almost 100 kids with extras to spare.
And the day after that was the James' Family Shindig out at our place! Yeehaw! We all wore white shirts, jeans, boots and handed out bandannas for all! I thought we looked mighty fine...just hope the neighbors didn't think of us a colt or something of the sorts! Brad and several of the men cooked which left us women to visiting. That was until the storm blew in! Previously that day, my mom, grandmother and I had made the cutest table arrangements for several tables...well those lasted about an hour when the wind hit! Tables were taken apart and moved rather quickly inside the garage. Our pleasant outdoor event of horseshoes, bad mitten and a cake walk was moved into our dirty, hideously unorganized garage, of all places! But with there being approx. 60 people there that night, there was not alot of room to move indoors. Luckily for that night, the rain missed us, we pulled the tables back out (without the cute arrangements mind you) and the evening continued just fine! We really enjoyed having everyone out!

Daddy's cowgirl...minus the boots...maybe for Christmas! But shh don't tell!

Shad and Taytum, too cute for words!

Stacy and the girls and a few extras all around!

Sam the Man!

Cutest country fam ever award!

Yes, Bre, the parties in the garage!

Creative Communication...

While riding in the car with Nani, we drove over an overpass where we could see a pond. So we told Avery to look at the water. When she saw it she said,
"Water. Dirt. Mud. Eew."
We happened to think that was clever and cute! Just thought I'd share a smile!
