Her first "pony ride" on Kreek and Kaegens' horse though this pony was a big one and it made momma nervous!
Her favorite past time!

It didn't take long for her to read herself to sleep.

Well, our little 11 month old won't be that much longer! Her 1st Birthday is just around the corner! That landmark just seems to sneak up on you! Like everyone says, "I can't believe she will be one!" She is such a sweet girl though she is learning how to use her powers against us. A simple bump on the noggin will bring Daddy running. She won't even be crying real tears until she sees him and knows he knows she's "hurt", then she really turns on the sympathy face and "cry". It's cute eventhough she did bonk her head! The past few nights we've been out of town and the pack 'n play just wasn't comfortable enough for her as she let us know many hours after her bedtime and then again in the middle of the night til she worked her way in between us. Which if you know me and how much I need my sleep and if you know her and how wild she is in her sleep, then you'll know none of us got that much sleep for two days! So she's been a little tired lately and makes the cutest fake whiny face by wrinkling her nose and moaning (once again) that fake cry. She loves to look at books and loves to turn the pages all be herself. It's so cute to see her two little thumbs working to pull the pages apart! She headbangs to music...I have no idea how she learned that! She eats like a champ! And when we're home, sleeps like one too! She can say Dad, Dadda, dog, hi and this week she has learned to say the "M" word though it comes and goes and it's usually when I'm not around! She's testing herself by standing on her own for small amounts at a time...it won't be long til she's off and running!

Church Camp Photos

Family Portrait at Church Camp

Enjoying a pork chop while Granny and Peepaw are being entertained!

Cooling off all by herself...the other pool was a little crowded for her liking!

Trine sharing his pool! She only got one cup of water poured on her head but that didn't seem to bother her at all!

And I had to post this one 'cause once again The Ladies beat the Sr. Girls at volleyball receiving the trophy two years in a row! Yah old women!

Avery survived her first year at the Pecos River Family Encampment! It rained, then got hot, then got hot and humid, then got a little hotter with a little more humidity...but we all survived! It was wonderful seeing all of our friends and David's family for a whole week! Plus Michael Light was the speaker and did a great job though I missed alot of them due to nap time (for Avery, of-course). Avery loved the crowds and attention being the social butterfly that she is! She waved and said HI to almost everyone who walked by, this included all 300 people who were there! She hardly fussed and ate whatever mommy would let her eat! She ate all of her Cheerios in class plus whoever else's were laying around her. She even got a little taste of pork chops but no goat meat this year! If it's up to me, she will never have to eat that stuff! ha! She was one of 14 in her Craddle Role Bible class and they said she loved it! Who wouldn't though when they serve you that many Cheerios! We had a great time and loved seeing everyone! We're sad to have to wait a whole 'nother year!

Cousins!

" Aren't I cute!"

Nana, Aves and the Bell!

Only 12 babies in this picture, but Page and Tressie did a great job with them all! Way to go girls!

What a great student she is along with her pals D'Laney and Trine!
