Our First Family Vacation!

What started as a three day weekend to Lake Brownwood and staying in a hotel room turned into our first family vacation! We extended the days to almost a week and to top things off, Butch and Sharon let us borrow their camper trailor along with Coys pick-up (thank you everyone!). So instead of the ole hotel routine we get to stay right on the lake. Ah peace and quiet...for the most part. We didn't get much R&R 'cause we had people to see! We got to visit my old friend Kristin who got to meet Avery for the first time! We almost met up with Melinda, Brant and Trine. We're playing match makers already for those two! He's quite the catch! We also got to worship at Bangs CoC with Michael Light and Davids good friend Travis. My how times flies when you're having fun! The weather was great though we didn't get to fish once! I know, we were on the lake and no fishing you ask?! Avery kept us a little busy the rest of the time with her teething four teeth at once. Perfect timing for vaca poor thing! Ok, I'm boring myself with my terrible writing skills or lack thereof. How about a little bit on Aves...
Avery is doing well and growing like a weed! She's almost 17 pounds now and 26 inches long. She turned 7 months March 6th! That is so hard to believe. She is working on four upper teeth at the moment to go along with the two bottoms ones that she got at just four months! I feel sorry for her cause this round has been alot more painful than the first. She is alread grinding her teeth which actually sounds like she is eating glass! Ouch! She is wanting to get down and crawl away though she doesn't want to be put on her tummy...don't know how she's going to get around that one! hmmm. She can sit up on her own though she would rather hold on to your fingers while standing in your lap. She giggles like crazy and is a bit of a show off as well as an attention getter. To get our attention she will flap her arms down to her side and squeal as loud as possible while turning red in the face. It's cute but a little scary seeing that red-headed temper spark! Yikes!

Kristin and Avery

Enjoying a stroll by the lake!

If you asked Trine where Avery was (or anything else for that matter), he would point his little finger! Way cute!

She loves 'nana puddin'! She got her first taste of banana pudding and loved it! But when David went for his bite she tried to intercept! What a Kodac moment!
