Winter Happenings

Where has my baby girl gone? She's growing up way too fast! But each day is just more and more fun!!

Just a few photos of Miss Aves. She looked so adorable in this outfit for Sunday school I had to take a picture or two. I meant to get some of her in her Bible class with her buddies but we all know how crazy Sunday mornings can be with little ones! The other is just us playing outside an a mild winter day. Plus a shot of her doing her favorite hobby ... finger, hand and arm painting!
Here are some of the latest cute things Aves has said recently:
After going to the rodeo last month with mine and Daves family, Aves can be in the middle of doing anything not pertaining to horses or the rodeo for that matter, and she will say with her eyes wide open and excitement in her voice,
"I see oreys (horseys) radio!!"
No I did not misspell rodeo, that is what she calls it! So cute!
When pretending to talk on her pretend cell phone, she says:
"Howoh, (then pauses), I call you back. (pause) I will. (pause). OK (pause). Bye-bye"
I think she's been listening in on a few of my calls! Boy they know how to mimic, don't they?!
She took yet another nasty fall last weekend at Lori's and pretty much did a face plant on the side walk. She scabbed up her forehead, nose and upperlip. She was pretty swolen for two days but that went down and the scabs are healing pretty well, thank goodness. She tells the story by saying,
"BOOM! (touches her hand to the ground) I fall down, yes! I bump my head!
I cryin'"
She learned to sing Jesus Loves Me which just melts my heart. It is so very hard to catch her singing it on film soooo I got a video of her singing it in the one place she can't run from...the potty. It's so sweet even though she's on the potty! Is that tackey? Ok, don't tell me!
(If you look close you can see some of her face plant damage.)
