What a genius place this is especially when it's over 100 degrees most of the summer! We took a trip to the Great Wolf Lodge with Dave's family and had a blast! There weren't enough hours in the day to do all the activities that it offered. In a day and a half we swam and played in the huge indoor water park, did the Magi Quest opening clues with our magic wands (which Aves absolutely loved waving and pointing her wand at things), made a bear, colored a pillow case, got our arms painted (tried to call it that instead of a tattoo, but oh no, Aves wanted to call it her tattoo, yikes), played in the arcade, and of course ate...whew, what a vacation! We even made a stop at the Dallas Aquarium. Then we came home and slept til 10 three days in a row! Aves is usually up by 8 so this was a treat for this tired group! Thanks Nana for a great time!
