Thanks to Mareena from the oh so jolly (yet corny) Fresh Beat Band, Avery has become quite the drummer. She has a little drum with drum sticks that she counts off "1, 2, 3, 4" banging the sticks together then drums her little heart out on. She drums on the walls and tables with her hands. She turns sticks in the yard or straws on the table into drum sticks, counts off, then carries on with some sort of drum beat. Well you should have just seen the excitement and aw in her little eyes when she turned the corner in my cousin Tims' house to find this HUGE, complete drum set! It was adorable! She counted off like she usually does then began to play some actual rythm here and there and would always end on the cymbal or the cow bell! Jett so sweetly cheered her on as you will see! It was pretty amazing to watch a two year old mimic and play so well ..... she loves playing the guitar or the "bitar" as she calls it and also loves playing the piano which we just inherited from my parents (thank you guys, no really, I mean it!). I look forward to seeing what talent may come from her love of musical instruments! Even if it is a complete drum set ..... maybe we can dig out a basement!
